This December we are once again taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge from Midday Tuesday 1st to Midday Tuesday 8th December. This year we will be raising funds towards our ‘My Place Online‘ project to provide online learning and social activities to people with learning disabilities and their family carers in Nottinghamshire.

Your donation will be worth twice as much when you donate to our ‘My Place Online‘ project during Big Give Christmas Challenge week. To make sure you don’t miss out on the chance to help us raise £40,000 in just one week, email laura.carr@reachuk.org or visit our Keeping in Touch page and opt in to our Christmas Fundraising Appeal. See our ways you can help page for more ideas on how you can get involved and raise much needed funds for people with learning disabilities this year. Visit www.reachuk.org between 1st and 8th December to make your donation online.

How it works

What your money could fund

During the Big Give Christmas Challenge, donations made online are matched by a national charity champion and local pledgers. This year Reach’s charity champion is the Monday Charitable Trust. Local pledgers include first4care, Mansfield Rotary Club, the Mary Robertson Trust and private individuals. More information about the Christmas Challenge, including a short explanatory video, can be found at www.thebiggive.org.uk.

Our Stories

Here are just some examples of how online learning and social activities are helping people to feel less lonely and isolated. Your doubled donation during our Big Give Christmas Challenge really will make a difference to people with learning disabilities and their families in Nottinghamshire.
