This August, our curate-on-the-run Danny Marshall is completing the Newark Half Marathon to raise money for an incredible local charity, Reach Learning Disability.
He is specifically raising money for clients who may not normally be able to pay for the holidays the charity organises.
Reach states, "for many of our clients, the twice-yearly Reach holidays are the highlights of their year, and for their families, it is often the only respite that they have from caring all year round. Holidays and activities such as these are great fun, but also raise aspirations for people to live more independent lives."
