15/5/2020 Some of the people with learning disabilities and their families who normally come to Reach are facing crisis situations. Recently I have been able to use the van to take those who are most at risk to trial safe, socially distant use of our centres. The van is great because people can sit in the back and we can maintain a safe distance from each other. One of our clients lives alone and has no internet access; now he can see his Reach friends and join in with online classes and social activities safely from our Newark centre. I picked up another client to come to Flower Pod one day – his Mum said he had been waiting outside for 15 minutes he was so excited!
