During Carers Week 2022, Reach held a raffle to say thank you to our carers as part of our Carers Matter Project funded by Nottinghamshire Freemasons.

Congratulations to our winner: Julia!

When Catherine, our Carers Matter Project Manager delivered the pamper hamper prize, Julia was surprised, saying “I never win anything!”

Julia’s son, Adam, attends Flower Pod Newark. Adam was really excited that she won.

Catherine said: “This national Carers Week is a time to shine a light on all that Reach’s family carers do. Working to ensure older carers of people with learning disabilities feel more visible, valued and supported, as well as providing the bespoke support they need, is what motivates me each day. Julia is thoroughly deserving of her win!”
