Last week we enjoyed saying a big ‘ey up to BBC Radio Nottingham who took the time to chat with some of our clients and staff at Flower Pod and Reach Southwell.

In the short radio interview, we discussed how powerful a simple hello or friendly smile can be for people with learning disabilities. One of our clients said a greeting from someone walking down the street would “make me feel really fabulous, actually”.

A humble hello can boost your own mood while lighting up someone else’s day, why not give it a try next time you’re walking through town?
