Reach Attains Investors in People Gold Accreditation (again!)

We are delighted to share that Reach Learning Disability has once again achieved an Investors in People Gold accreditation, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to creating a positive, supportive and high-performing workplace culture.

Investors in People Gold is awarded to organisations that go beyond having good policies in place. It recognises workplaces where people at every level play an active role in shaping culture, driving improvement and bringing organisational values to life every day.

At Reach, we know that achieving the best outcomes for people with learning disabilities starts with investing in our people. Our colleagues are at the heart of everything we do, supporting more than 250 adults each week across Nottinghamshire to live happier, healthier, more independent and connected lives.

Maintaining a Gold standard

Retaining Gold accreditation is a significant achievement. It reflects the dedication, professionalism and commitment of colleagues across Reach and our shared determination to create a workplace where people feel valued, supported and empowered to grow.

“Receiving Investors in People Gold accreditation is a significant achievement and a testament to the passion, professionalism and commitment of our colleagues. As a values-led organisation, we know that delivering the best outcomes for the people we support starts with investing in and empowering our workforce. We are proud that this accreditation recognises the positive culture we have created and our ongoing commitment to developing and supporting our people.”

Steve Shatwell, Chief Executive

The accreditation places Reach amongst a select group of organisations recognised for excellence in leadership, people management and workplace culture. Investors in People highlighted that Gold organisations understand the value of their people and the vital contribution they make to the success of the organisation.

“We’d like to congratulate Reach. Gold accreditation on We invest in people is a fantastic effort for any organisation, and places Reach in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”

Paul Devoy, CEO, Investors in People

Investing in people to deliver lasting impact

Our mission is to help adults with learning disabilities build a good future for themselves: a safe, healthy and happy life filled with purpose, achievement, opportunity and friendship. Achieving this depends on having skilled, passionate and supported colleagues who share our commitment to making a positive difference every day.

Retaining Investors in People Gold accreditation reinforces the culture we have built together and our commitment to continuing to invest in our people, so that we can keep delivering high-quality services and opportunities for the people who place their trust in us.

We would like to thank every member of Team Reach for their contribution to this achievement.
