Progress towards £40,000 target
Thanks to our supporters, we reached our Big Give Christmas Challenge target of £40,000. In just one week!
Donations made towards our Brighter Futures appeal through the Big Give Christmas Challenge were doubled, and so have double the impact too. Funds raised are helping our expert staff to offer life-skills and planning activities, support sessions for families and help with urgent challenges. Which means more people with learning disabilities and family carers can look forward to brighter futures and know where they’re going and how to get there.
Thank you - your gift will make a difference to the lives of local people with learning disabilities, today and tomorrow.
We'd like to say a big thank you to our charity champion Reed Foundation and to our pledgers including Southwell & District Lions and local individuals.

Why people with learning disabilities and their families need your support
Hi I'm Tracey and I know through my years working at Reach and working with families in other roles how important it is for people with learning disabilities and their families to plan ahead.
Lots of adults with learning disabilities and their mums, dads and wider family worry a lot about the future. Uncertainties like where someone will live, worries about money, whether people will be listened to, how a son or daughter might cope without a parent and where to go to find out about options.
Donations to our Big Give Christmas Challenge will go towards life-skills and planning sessions, support sessions for families and help with urgent challenges. Which means more people with learning disabilities and family carers can look forward to less worry, more hope and know where they’re going and how to get there.
At Reach we can’t see into the future, but with your support we can help people to plan for Brighter Futures.
If you have any questions or would like more information about our Brighter Futures appeal and our plans for 2024, please email laura.carr@reachuk.org.
